Dr. Zargarzadeh graduated with a minor in Biochemistry at the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor in Pharmacy at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He then obtained a PharmD in Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Texas in Austin, where he did a general residency. Dr. Zargarzadeh accepted a faculty position at the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where he founded the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. He also helped establish the first program of study in clinical pharmacy in Iran.
